YMCA Vice Chancellor launched University Ambulance Service in Faridabad

Faridabad, 01 September,2016( )In order to provide round the clock medical accessibility to the students of YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Kumar today launched Ambulance Service at the University premise here today.
The Vice-Chancellor flagged off the newly procured ambulance and handed over to the Proctor Dr. Dr. Munish Vashistha and hoped that the new ambulance facilities will enable students to get medical facility at the earliest. Registrar Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sharma, Dean Institutions Prof. Sandeep Grover, Chief Hostel Warden Dr. Vikas Turk and Dr. Arvind Gupta were also present on this occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dinesh Kumar said that the ambulance facility will be available free of cost to all students residing in hostels and studying in various departments of the University. The students may contact to the office of Chief Hostel Warden or Proctor of the University to avail the facility. The Vice-Chancellor disclosed that the University is planning to develop the dispensary, located within the campus, further to provide more facilities in it. The dispensary caters the need of all the students and staff, including regular check up and medicines for common ailments.
Dr. Vashistha said that the ambulance would be equipped with first-aid kit, stretcher and all other necessary equipment to administer first aid. He said that the University has also signed an agreement with a reputed local hospital – M/s Metro Heart Institute with Multispecialty, Faridabad at a close proximity from the campus. A team of qualified doctors from hospital is also available to provide regular and intensive medical care to the students.
